James Wardlow III was born in small town in Alabama, although now he resides in Huntsville . His musical journey started on the backwood beaches of Arnica bay in the Gulf of Mexico . At these late night parties that would usually last until way past dawn , it was there he discovered the likes of John Prine, Chris Smither, Todd Snider and countless others . On a warm day in May 2009 he got an opportunity to move to Oakland Ca. to start a Rock Blues band called the California Moonshiners . Upon returning back home and playing in various bands James started work on his debut solo album . Written and recorded during the worst pandemic the world had seen in over a century Terms and Conditions deals with the social and political climate of these times .Terms and Conditions is an album that explores the darker side of humanity , one that may not have a happy ending but continues anyway
